Righttime Medical Care Expanding and Enhancing Service
The popular urgent-care center is expanding to take over its entire building on Generals Highway.

Workers have been toiling away inside Righttime Medical Care to allow the urgent-care clinic to take over its entire building on Generals Highway.
When renovations are complete the clinic will encompass about 6,000 square feet and look similar to Righttime's newer locations in Arundel Mills and Gaithersburg. The changes will give it about 50 percent more space and help improve the way doctors provide care, officials said.
In addition to enhanced patient rooms and waiting area, the location also will have other amenities such as a 10-second X-ray machine that uses a fraction of the radiation of a typical machine.
Dr. Robert Graw Jr., Righttime CEO and chief pediatrician, said the renovations will help the clinic continue to live up to its motto of "Righttime for a lifetime."
Dr. Robert Graw Jr., Righttime CEO and chief pediatrician, said the renovations will help the clinic continue to live up to its motto of "Righttime for a lifetime."
"We now see the acuity and the age of our patients have increased," Graw said. "Only 1 percent of our patients end up going to the hospital."
Righttime opened in 1989 as Nighttime Pediatrics, offering care 365 days a year in the evening and on weekends. In 1994, they opened a second location in Pasadena, then changed the name in 1996 to Nighttime Pediatrics and Parents Too.
Another name change followed in 1998 to Nighttime Pediatrics and Adults Too.
Righttime has eight locations throughout Anne Arundel, Howard and Montgomery counties, Graw said. He also said they are planning to open four new locations in the coming months.

Righttime recognized as a great alternative to the ER
By Larry Carson, The Baltimore Sun
Crowding appears to be declining at Howard County's only hospital emergency room, and a citizens group is promoting the use of a dozen private urgent care clinics in the county as a cheaper, more convenient option to help keep that trend going.
"Our purpose is to let the people of Howard County know that the providers are here," said Barbara Russell, a Howard County Citizens Association member who serves on the group's three-person committee studying emergency medical care.
To that end, the group hosted a meeting Monday night at the Hawthorne Community Center featuring the county's top medical officials.
